Another Cape Flattery Painting
Also I started another painting from a photo I took at Cape Flattery. This one is a view on the north side facing Straight of Juan de Fuca. And Vancouver Island in a distance. Coincidentally (not intentionally after cropping the original photo) the size is the same 16x24.
Covered Water Surface
Quickly covered the most of water surface with lighter value. Now the whole canvas is covered by approximate values and colors. I'll push and pull values, edges and colors from here.

It's been more than a month since last update
Wow it's been quite a while. I was quite busy this month because I went to Japan the first time since I came to Seattle area to live 11 years ago.
Anyway I finished "West End" during the holiday weekend and came back to this seagulls. I started adjusting the rock shapes but I'm feeling that this would be quick painting once I've caught a speed. I just got that feeling today.
