Thicker application is paying off

This would be the last update for this sheep painting. I started applying thicker paint to sheep's bodies. The light color paint went too much into dark shadow areas. I tried darker paint but realized it wouldn't work. I'll try scrape some off and/or wait until it dries up so that I can put dark colors on top of the light layers.
But otherwise I'm somewhat satisfied with the outcome so far. For the rest, I'll work on some more on grass to put lights on. And the face of the sheep.

Making Lighter

At the same time making the body colors lighter for sheep, curving out outlines and the face of the right sheep. I need to apply thicker paint from this point. Otherwise I unlikely can get fur texture as I want it to be.

First Layer of Colors

After roughly finalizing the shapes then putting underground colors in the foreground and background, I started laying the fist layer of colors down. I still don't have decided and don't have a good idea how the final product would be.

Shapes of Sheep

After finishing "Beyond the Holizon" Friday, I've been working on shapes of three sheep. Since there are only a few dark parts in this painting like the last "Beyond...", it's very easy to get lost with shapes as well as colors. But I think I got most of the shapes right. I'll start putting colors tomorrow.
