I'm somewhat satisfied with the outcome of the left horse after I spent about 1.5h tonight. Now I really need to work on the background. But I know it would rather go quickly and this would be the last update. I'm intending to finish this this weekend.
This is coming along quite nicely Toshi! The drafting of the horses and their placement in the composition is great! This painting is a winner if you use what you learned in Jim's class about color harmony and value...also pay particular attention to the edges.

Thanks Robin. I understand in my head about the stuff I keep hearing in the workshops. But not so easy to do it on my canvas all at once. Need to keep trying until I no longer need to think.
