Ume Flowers

In Seattle we got some snow falling this morning. But Sun broke out before noon. I took this opportunity to take some photos of flowers of the Ume tree that I planted last fall. These are on the lower branches. There are some more coming on upper branches, which would take another week or so to start blooming. Hi Toshi,

I just wanted to check in and say I like your horse paintings and stampede pictures. I'll be curious to see the collection that you put together for your next exhibition. Take care,

Thanks S, Next show would have those animal paintings and another horse one I just started, called "Pals", in addition to 4 or 5 landscapes including Stanley ones. This show would be my turning point from my previous style to my new one. I started applying thicker paint in "East of the Mountains" that I'm about to finish. This is the outcome of my confidence with colors I make. I need to thank my instructor Jane through the 8 week course.
